He completed postgraduate studies in Law and Economics of the European Communities at SDOA (School of Management and Business Organization) and in the United States Legal System at UCSD (University of California, San Diego). He gained experience in information and communication technology law at the consulting firm Bates & Wacker in Brussels.

A registered freelance journalist since 1994, he collaborated with newspapers and television broadcasters before dedicating himself entirely to the legal profession.

He began his legal career at Daffarra & Partners, a Milan-based law firm specializing in copyright and media law, becoming a partner in 1998.

In 2013, he founded DP Legal, a law firm specializing in intellectual property, media, and sports, where he currently practices.

Until 2017, he served as legal counsel to the advisory company of Lega Calcio Serie A for the commercialization of domestic and international audiovisual rights for Italian football competitions.

He currently advises leading groups active in the media rights and sports sponsorship sector, with offices in Milan, Zurich, and London, handling their corporate and commercial operations as well as litigation.

He has participated in numerous negotiations with international sports federations concerning the organization, production, and audiovisual distribution of sporting events.

He taught the Digital Media Law course in the International Master's Programme in Media Science and Technology at the University of Pavia (until 2004), and held seminars on copyright and intellectual property at the Politecnico di Milano (until 2023).

He has been a speaker at numerous conferences organized by public and private institutions on topics such as sports audiovisual rights, television broadcasting agreements, copyright law reforms, and the protection of copyright in the digital environment.
